What We Believe (Core Values)

Compelling Love: As a community that exists to represent the -heart of God to the world, it is natural that our first and foremost core value is LOVE. God is love, and as His children, we have inherited this all consuming and most valuable characteristic. (John 15:12, 1 John 4:8)
Relational Community: We are the family of God. We live to put others before ourselves in honor, love and commitment. We are dedicated to walking through both the storms and sunny days together. We are a community that places our love for each other far above our need to be right, and make every effort to capture the mandate of family. (John 13:34)
Outreach Through Compassion: The love of Christ compels us to act with compassion toward our fellow man. We aim to treat everyone we meet with the same compassion that we would show toward Jesus himself. In this pursuit, we are committed to reach our city with food, clothing, joy and the message of salvation. (Matthew 25:40)
Supernatural Lifestyle: We are committed to seeing the advancement of signs, wonders and miracles onto the world stage. Seeing God’s Kingdom manifest here, on earth as it is in heaven is one of our greatest joys. We love when the Glory of God collides with the natural and causes absolute transformation. (Matthew 6:10)
Spiritual Gifts: We exist to see the body mature into the gifting that the Holy Spirit is pouring out over us. We do not only embrace the Gifts of the Spirit, but we also long to see them flourish in our house and be used to transform the world around us. (1 Corinthians 12 – Isaiah 11:2,3 – Romans 12:4-8 – Ephesians 4:7-13)
Prophetic/Apostolic Culture: As a community that embraces the fourfold function gifts of the Holy Spirit laid out in Ephesians 4, we long to see a better understanding of the Apostolic and the Prophetic emerge onto the scene, and operate in the body here at Crosspointe. We are ever evolving in our understanding and implementation of these giftings to our house. Prophetically we desire to hear from Heaven and call out the greatness in the people around us. Apostolically, we invest in creating venues to send people out to fulfill the mandate of building bridges of relationship in our community. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
Outrageous Prayer: We are committed to continually reach new heights in prayer. We long to raise up a house of prayer that contends in the heavens for the souls of men and the escalated dominion of the Father on the earth. We love to minister to the Lord through prayer and fasting, and we long to leave a legacy of prayer for generations that follow us. Isaiah 56:7)
Impartation of Biblical Truths: The Holy Scriptures are our anchor. We refuse to embrace anything that is not rooted in the Word of God. We know that the Bible is living and active and because of this we will never limit who God is, or what God is doing. We are committed to using the word as the last say on all matters. (Hebrews 4:12)
Nations Engaged: One of our greatest priorities is to sow finances, toil and love into the Lord’s work taking place all over the globe. We are a local church that has a global mindset and because of this we are very dedicated to seeing all nations touched by the finger of God. (Matthew 28:19,20)
Tribe of Honor and Grace: Encouragement is the initial tool used to create what we call a Culture of Honor. We use honor to train people to step into their destiny as we endeavor to always call greatness out of everyone around us. Crosspointe is a family or a tribe that exists to build each other up in love and unity. We know that to do this we must honor everyone and shower each other with a grace that favors one another over ourselves (1Peter 2:17 NKJV)
Extravagant Worship: There have been many prophecies spoken over our house about the sound of heaven that is being released from our worship. We do not hide our emotions or our affections, but we exuberantly pour ourselves out over the feet of our Lord in the form of lively passionate worship. We are learning to literally dwell in His presence understanding that every action constitutes an act of worship (Psalm 91:9).
